Mature Minds Ltd has developed a unique network of like-minded individuals. The Mature Minds Network is a community which shares knowledge and experience to promote the professional interests of its membership of workers, whether they run their their own businesses or are in employment. Mature Minds Ltd has agreed to participate in the Healthy Working Centre research with the Centre for Working Life Research at Kingston University. One of the research objectives is to understand how communities of people coalesce to work towards achieving common objectives. Kingston Business School will facilitate regular face-to-face workshops and networking events to determine issues of concern, and to find out what information from the internet, and local events would be useful to promote the professional interests of mature members As well as face-to-face meetings, it is anticipated that the network will operate through a website. The website offers a number of different ways for members of the network to interact, for example through members posting news, through discussion forums and through exchanging useful websites.
